The quartet are transplanted Trinidadians who have been living in the United States for over twenty years, and we listen in as they "talk" to themselves in their current circumstances while recalling past events that shaped their lives. There are sad moments, true, but with its many laugh-out-loud inner dialogues, A Smile In Every Season reminds us that sometimes, the conversations we have with ourselves are the ones that keep us sane and smiling through life's chaos.

The author is a transplanted West Indian who has lived for over forty years in the United States, primarily in New York City. He is a divorced father of two with a multitude of hobbies and interests including traveling and writing. A Smile in Every Seasons is his first attempt at a full-sized novel.
